Potentiometer

Potentiometer is having three terminals, according to some variation of resistance adjusting resistor element. Potentiometers are usually made of resistor and a removable brush. When the brush along the resistor body moves, the output end is obtained with the displacement into a certain relationship between the resistance or voltage. The potentiometer can be used as a three terminal element can also be used as the two end components using. The latter can be regarded as a variable resistor.
The potentiometer is a variable resistor. Is usually composed of resistor and the rotating or sliding system, i.e., by a movable contact in the resistor body movement, obtaining partial voltage output.
The role of regulating voltage potentiometer -- ( including DC voltage and the signal voltage ) and the size of the current.
The potentiometer is an adjustable electronic components. It is composed of a resistor and a rotating or sliding system. When the resistance body between two fixed contacts and a voltage, by rotating or sliding system change the contact in the resistor body position, the moving contact and the fixed contact can be a movable contact position into a certain relationship between the voltage. It is mostly used as a voltage divider, the potentiometer is a four terminal element. The potentiometer is basically a sliding rheostat, there are several styles, generally used in speaker volume switch and the first laser power adjust potentiometer is an adjustable electronic components.
For the partial pressure of the variable resistor. In the bare resistance body, pressed with one or two movable metal contact. Contact position determined resistance and contact resistance between either end. According to material distribution around, carbon membrane, solid core type potentiometer; according to the output and input voltage ratio and rotation angle relation of linear potentiometer ( linear ), function ( a curve ). The main parameters for the resistance, tolerance, rated power. Widely used in electronic equipment, audio and a receiver for volume control.
