WEP(Wired Equivalent Privacy)

WEP--Wired Equivalent Privacy encryption, WEP security technology derived from the name RC4 RSA data encryption technology, to meet user higher demand for network security.
WEP Wired Equivalent Privacy abbreviation, Wired Equivalent Privacy ( WEP ) protocol is on between two devices wireless transmission of the data encryption means, in order to prevent the illegal user tapping or invasive wireless network. But analysts have to find WEP password several weaknesses, so in 2003 by Wi-Fi Protected Access ( WPA ) eliminated, and in 2004 by the complete IEEE 802.11i standard ( also known as WPA2 ) replaced. WEP although some weaknesses, but also strong enough to deter non-professionals prying.
802.11b standard definition for a wireless local area network ( WLAN ) security protocol. WEP is used to provide and cable LAN level security. LAN is safer than WLAN, because the LAN of the physical structure of its protection, in whole or in part network buried inside the building can also prevent unauthorized access.
WEP--weighted escapement policy weighted escape policy, this strategy is mainly in the predator and prey density weighted combination.
