OpenJDK

OpenJDK for GPL license ( GPL-licensed ) of the Java platform, Sun released it has been more than a year. Released from that moment, the Java community populace began to study hard, to adapt to the new open source code base.
Sun released OpenJDK can only be run on i386 and AMD-64 machine. Fedora can be run on other systems, particularly those based on PowerPC machine. In order to solve this problem, we launched a IcedTea project to complete graft. The project is based on Sun C + + interpreter, OpenJDK PowerPC transplantation to construct a separate interpretation procedure. Later to become the Zero, it is a truly portable" zero assembler" version. As you might expect, a pure interpretation program is slower than the Java used to high performance JIT ( Just In Time ) compiler, but we are trying to improve their performance.
