Honey helps to enhance the resistance

In your food or drink with a spoonful of honey, you can enhance natural resistance. Research shows, eat honey can not only satisfy your sweet tooth, but also can improve the antioxidant in the blood volume.
The researchers say, honey containing different concentrations of polyphenols, these ingredients are antioxidants, are believed to reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, polyphenol substances present in fruits, vegetables, tea and olive oil. Although previous studies have shown, honey can lead to antioxidants the amount raised, but the researchers said, this is the first observation of the long-term effect of honey. The study was published in the American Chemical Society annual meeting.
In this study, the researchers asked 25 participants every day to eat 4 spoons of honey, and these participants also maintained their normal diet, study for a period of 29 days. Two different honey contains polyphenols content is also different. Before the experiment and after the experimental blood tests, the results show, the more quantity of honey intake, blood concentration of polyphenols in higher polyphenol content high, eat honey, then the antioxidants in blood concentration is higher.
California Davis University researchers said, antioxidants in vivo is due to a slowing of disease occurrence, and to protect the human body, these antioxidants with free radical scavenging function, and free radicals in unstable substances, it will damage the cells. The researchers said, the average annual per capita will ingest more than 150 pounds of sugar, and honey to replace some of the traditional sugar, perhaps a more healthy choice.
