Mobile IP

Mobile IP is designed to meet the needs of mobile node in mobile maintains its connectivity and design. Mobile IP now has two versions, respectively ( RFC 3344, Mobile IPv4 replaced RFC 3220, RFC 2002 ) and Mobile IPv6 ( RFC 3775 ). Use extensively at present is still Mobile IPv4
Definition
Stated most simply, mobile IP technology is to make the computer on the Internet and local area network without any restriction on real-time roaming, mobile computer technology.
A bit more professional explanation, mobile IP technology is a mobile node ( Computer / server / network etc.) with a fixed IP address, implementation spans different network roaming function, and ensure the network based IP network access in the roaming process without any change.
Mobile IP network roaming function
Mobile IP is applied to all based on TCP / IP network environment, it gives people unlimited network roaming service. For example: when the user leaves the Beijing Corporation, on a business trip to Shanghai branch, simply the mobile node ( for example: notebook computers, PDA devices ) connected to the Shanghai branch network, then the user can enjoy with head office in Beijing as well as all operations. The user can still use the Beijing company shared printer, or you can still visit Beijing Corporation colleagues computer share files and related database resources and so on; a variety of operations, lets the user feel myself in the field, colleagues feel you have to travel to the field. In other words: mobile IP applications allow users to "home " network everywhere can be" home", no longer endure the mobile node for" travel" and bring all the discomfort.
Key technology of mobile IP
The agents search: is the calculation of node to determine if they are roaming in the state.
Address: is a mobile node moves to the outside network from outside the agency get temporary address.
Login: is a mobile node to the outside network a series of certification, registration, establish tunneling process.
Tunnel: is the home agent and foreign agent between the temporary established bidirectional data channel.
