C - RAN

C - RAN is now nets conditions and technology according to the progress of the new trends, puts forward wireless access network architecture. C - RAN is based on centralization Processing (allow), Centralized Collaborative collaborating Radio (have) and real-time Cloud computing architecture (Cloud Infrastructure) Real - a wireless access network architecture (the green Clean system). Its essence is to reduce the number of base by computer, reducing energy consumption, using XieZuoHua, virtualization technology, realizing resource-sharing and dynamic scheduling, improve spectrum efficiency, in order to achieve lower cost and higher bandwidth and flexible operation. C - RAN for solving the general objective is to mobile Internet rapid development in various challenges brought by operators, energy consumption and construction and shipped (vascular cost, spectrum resources), the pursuit of future sustainable business and profits.
Nowadays, mobile operators are faced with fierce competition environment, used in construction, operation, upgrade wireless access network spending increases, and in the same income but not necessarily the speed increase. Mobile Internet business flow rapidly rising, due to competition's sake, single user ARPU value of slow growth, but even in slowly decrease, these factors severely weakened mobile operators profitability. In order to maintain sustained profitability and growth for the long term, mobile operators must find low cost, to provide users with wireless business methods.
Wireless access network (RAN) is mobile operators bilks the important assets through wireless access, to provide users can 7x24 hour uninterrupted, high quality data services. The traditional wireless access network has the following characteristics: first, connect per base some fixed number of sectors antenna, and cover small area, each station can handle only this area transceiver signal; Second, the system's capacity is limited, each base station interference work independently has been difficult to increase spectrum efficiency; Third, stations are usually based on proprietary platform development "vertical solutions". These features brought the following challenges: huge amounts of stations means high construction investment, supporting, hail hail lease and maintenance costs, to build more stations means more capital spending and operating expenses. In addition, the actual utilization or existing base is very low, the network load average below busy generally, and different when the base load between processing capability, do not share is difficult to improve spectrum efficiency. Finally, proprietary platform means that mobile operators need to maintain multiple incompatible platform, the expansion or upgrade when also need higher costs.
